The Impact of CEM on World Dense Breasts Boston Marriott Copley Place, Boston
Contrast Enhanced Mammography and is supported through an unrestricted educational grant provided by GE HealthCare.
Contrast enhanced mammography (CEM) is an exciting new application within the breast health pathway that combines a standard mammogram with contrast iodine to provide not only morphological information but takes advantage of early vascular information. This technology is designed to highlight lesions from obscuring breast masses. There is a growing demand for implementing CEM technology at current Women’s Centers as well as understanding how this new technology will impact your current workflow. This program will provide you with the tools you need to understand the fundamentals, benefits, and the daily utilization of CEM within your facility including a hands-on review of CEM cases. A comprehensive look at the current implementation guidelines, interpretations and clinical implications will be discussed.
