Last HMA we paused amidst the digital healthcare hype. We needed that. We needed to make sure we weren’t just going with the trend but going with it because it resulted in better patient outcomes and more efficient delivery of care. But we know that digital records and process automations are just the beginning. As we get more digitalised there’s interoperability between departments, various functions and across hospitals and care facilities. Then there’s AI and data mining; insight into even more efficient care protocols – the possibilities are endless. HMA 2023 will focus on moving the discussion along, encouraging Asia to embrace the change and even more change as we move into the future of healthcare.
