ICRS Focus Meeting Allografts and Synthetics on the Frontstage Radisson Blu Hotel, Nice, Nice
Cartilage treatment has evolved over the latter years, and diagnostics, imaging and staging have increasingly been involved. Cartilage healing has become more documented as techniques have become more precise and case-sensitive. As the knee is an “organ” other issues like menisci and alignment will be part of this highly focused meeting supported by all partners.
It is an opportunity for you to join those short days if you want to upgrade and update your knowledge for the better treatment of our patients. In addition, the programme focuses on the relationship between menisci and cartilage in the load-bearing joint bringing long-term results in meniscal allograft transplantation. This ICRS Focus meeting will also discuss the latest on bone and ligament allografts and alternatives.
Cartilage repair issues will be confronted with scaffolds ( proteins and polysaccharides ), synthetic scaffolds, hydrogels as well as native biological scaffolds, and synthetic polymeric materials. Many cases generating long-term experience versus new approaches will make this an eventful meeting allowing for experts and friends to meet looking at future options in cartilage treatment possibilities.
